Hogwart's House Challenge - Part Two: Ravenclaw Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

tlepinski: I've been told Stage 1 is on private property. Anyway, it's right at the location of the proposed Trans Mountain Freeway so I'll probably have to reestablish this one as a traditional or move it altogether.

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a 4-part series but can also be done on its own.

Inside the front cover of the log book is a 3-part code which will be needed to solve the puzzle for the final cache in the series. Be sure to write it down.

This cache is placed in honor of one of the greatest young-adult book series of all time, the Harry Potter series by author J.K. Rowling. This book series is also responsible for giving geocaching the term "muggle." Everyone in my family is a fan of the Harry Potter books and movies and we all lent a hand in creating and placing these caches.

Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has four houses to which a young witch or wizard attending the school can be assigned. Each cache in this series represents one of those four houses.

This is a magic-themed cache that should be fun for the entire family, especially Harry Potter fans. Easy on and off the road, too.

To get to this cache, take I-10 to Trans Mountain Rd. and head east. After about 1.3 miles or so, pull over and park at the pipeline road on the south side of Trans Mountain Rd. (You should be able to park very close to the first stage.) Inside this stage you will find coordinates to the final stage of the cache. This stage is less than a 1/4 mile walk through the desert.
