You will have no problem walking to this cache.
This is the home of the Blair County Genealogical Society, which was formed in 1979. The generosity of Robert Roller, a Williamsburg native, made this free research facility possible and it is in honor of his family it is named. Entering the lobby, you will see the beautiful murals of local historical interest that were painted by Steven Gilbert of Bellwoood, Pa. This library has many holdings such as Microfilms of several nespapers, Cemetery Records, Military Information, Biographies, and much more,that would be of interest to the Genealogist as well as those inteested in History.
You will be able to dig deep into your family roots at this location. Most families will have no problem in finding 5 generations, if their family is from the Blair County Area.
Upon finding this Cache, sign the log (bring a pen) and please take the additional papers. You will be able to go further with this find and you may be surprised where it leads you in your family history.
Library Hours are Monday: 6:30 to 9:30 , Wednesday 10:00 to 5:00. and 6:30 to 9:30 , Thursday 10:00 to 3:30 , and Saturday 10:00 to 2:00
