This is a wonderful, peaceful location. Mostly second growth redwoods in this part of the park, but it is a neat area to hike in. This cache is at a spot that would be a nice easy hike for someone camping in the Chinook Campground.
The shortest/easiest route to the cache is beginning at the main parking area, take the trail to the Chinook Campground. There is a fork in the trail just before you reach the campground, take the trail uphill.
The cache is a small geocaching lock-n-lock container hidden just a few feet off the trail. Although it is dense tree cover, I let my GPS average coordinates for about ten minutes and it said the accuracy was ten feet, so I hope they work okay for you.
