There is a great view of the Pescadero Creek valley from this spot. If you're coming up the trail from Pescadero Road, it is the first place where you will have a really open and mostly unobstructed view of the valley as it reaches down to the ocean. There is also a lot of wildlife to be seen in the area. My wife and I have seen deer, turkeys, quail, many types of birds, and even a mountain lion!
The cache is a camo painted rubbermaid container hidden just a few feet off the road. Neither my wife nor I saw any PO near the hiding spot when we placed the cache, but the stuff is insidious so be on the lookout.
