Geocache Description:

The coordinates above are not for the cache, but for nearby parking and a general area you need to start from! The actual cache coordinates can be found inside 'Church Micro 245 - Sevington (Ashford)’.

The village of Sevington is recorded in the Domesday Book, and was previously known as 'Seivetone'.

Once you have the coordinates for the cache, retrace your steps back to the path which runs through the churchyard, and you'll see a kissing gate in the corner - this is the start of the footpath (you'll have to loop around the back of the church and through a field). I'm afraid gate climbing is involved, as although placed on a footpath, the farmer has not 'installed' a stile and the gate is padlocked!

*UPDATE - there is now a stile, so no gate clambering is necessary!*

When hidden, the cache contained a number of swaps, log book, pen and certificate for the First to Find.
