The Sierra Club built the hiker's hut lodge here. It can be rented for overnight use, or as a meeting place for small groups.
The view from the hut is magnificent! There is also a lot of wildlife to be seen in the area. My wife and I have seen deer, turkeys, quail, many types of birds, and even a mountain lion!
There was a cache here previously. In fact, it was the first cache I went looking for with my son. Sorry to say we didn't find it, and soon after we reported our DNF that cache was archived. Ever since, I've thought it was a great place which should have a cache. I finally got around to putting one there myself.
Even though it's a micro it shouldn't be too hard to find. (Especially if you use the hint!)
