Avon was well known for the "healing" waters of the sulfur springs back in the mid 1800's. The grand and glorious hotels of the era are nearly gone. The town that remains here is a vibrant community and a great place to raise a family.
This cache is to celebrate my hometown of Avon. I spent the first 18 years of my life living here. I still visit often as much of my family still resides in the area.
The cache is located on the Genesee Greenway trail.
