Top o' the Heap Traditional Cache
Fritzi: Sadly, the area is now posted and being timbered. Stopped by today and removed the container from under a pile of cut timber and brush. Looks like the heavy machinery treads missed it by about 18". Thanks to all who found!

Yer standard ammo box on a hill hide.
I’ve been wanting to find a good spot for a cache in this area for a while. Most of the land along this rural stretch of road is Posted, but the sign closest to this hide reads: “Land Open to Public Hunting.” So, good luck hunting for the cache. ;-) There is a place to pull completely off the road nearby. The cache is not very far from parking, but there is a short, steep climb up to GZ over loose rocks, especially if you come straight at it from the road. Approach from the sides and it’s slightly easier. Please be careful walking along the road. There is plenty of room to walk safely on the shoulder, but it is a windy road, and many people drive it far too fast.
This is one of the larger-sized ammo boxes, so there is plenty of room inside for trade items, bugs and coins. Started it out with various items, so there should be something for everyone. Enjoy!!
