This is a 10 Stage/ Zone Wherigo cache with a Medievil theme. You must download the Lake Grapevine Wherigo cartridge Version 2.0 to play the game. You need to either have a Garmin Colorado or a GPS Pocket PC in order to log and play this cache.
The posted coordinates are for the parking area. Park hours are from 7am-10pm. I recommend that you try this one early morning as the 11-5 hours could have more muggles!
By parking at the listed location you will see the initial point to the entrance to the Kingdom. This will not be an easy quest and will take you on quite the jaunt.
In an effort to promote this quest you will have the opportunity to earn a few smileys along the journey.
The bonus cache "Castle Pets" GC1BFPY and "Dungeons" GC1BFQ2 are connected with this cache. The only way to claim either cache is to complete the Quest.
The final stage is marked as Final Treasure and you must upload your game and sign the log book in the container to claim the Wherigo as a find!!
This wherigo cartridge was tested with both the pocket pc version and the garmin colorado. We found that whenever you are asked for user input you are required to use lower case letters.
All caches were placed with the Permission of the office of the US Army Corps of Engineers.
This park is now under lease to the City of Grapevine. They are charging for access to the park. $3.00 on Weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on Weekends.
Due to a glitch in the Wherigo Cartridge for some users the final coordinates of "Dungeons" and "Grapevine Wherigo" were placed in a bison tube at the pavilion.
The Bison is located on the top of the center pole "with electricity" on it.
