Located on Wisconsin DNR public hunting and fishing grounds. Wear
Blaze orange if searching this cache during open hunting
seasons.
This stretch of DNR lands was the first public grounds I had ever
hunted on. Rabbit, squirrel, deer, pheasant all take up residence
in this area. While placing this cache, geese and cranes were also
sounding off making their presence known.
Parking is located at N44 13.769 / W88 41.223
Cache is located less than .3 miles from the parking
The trek to the cache may be a soggy, wet trek depending on time of
year and rainfall totals. I did manage to stay dry(ish) when
placing this.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Steve Hoffman
at the Waupaca Office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require
permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a
paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required
information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR
