Riverside Rambles No.3 - Afon Clwyd Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

Riverside Rambles is a series of caches set by the side of or near to rivers or streams. As the name suggests, these caches all involve a walk.
Obviously because of the close proximity to water children need to be careful.

This is on a path between Rhuddlan and Kinmel Bay. It makes a pleasant circular walk or bike ride (although there are a couple of stiles) by going up one side of the river and back down the other.

Several other caches can be found on the circular route:
Down by the Riverside I (GC10VJM), II (GC10VK5) and bonus micro (GC148Y4), and Estuary I (GC129CC) and II (GC129CQ).

Congratulations to Scottpa100 and Daddykins who were first to find this cache on 4th May 2008. Commiserations to Team Marzipan and Gizzard the third who couldn't find the cache (on first attempts anyway) and to Teamggeo who were second to find.
