This Multicache takes you on a circular walk around the lovely West Pentire Headland. The main part of the route is on well defined footpaths with short deviations off to the cache locations. Paths can be muddy after rain, and there is one steep hill near the end of the walk. Care should be taken and children supervised where the path nears the cliff edge.
This is our first cache, placed to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Owing to our fondness for multicaches, we have placed 3 micro caches (white film canisters) around the walk, each giving the co-ordinates to the next before reaching the final. The final cache is a 1/2 litre Lock & Lock box containing the usual swaps. The published co-ordinates are for the first canister.
A signposted path has recently been created leading to Vugga Cove. Following this path will avoid previously logged nettles, and lead you close to the first cache (formerly cache number 2).
Parking for this cache is a Pay & Display Car Park and can be found at :

with access down the hill to the footpath.
Once you have found the Cache, follow the path along before turning left up the hill, and then right at the path junction at the very top to return to your car.
If you are in the area, we can also recommend 'Crantock - From Garden to Cow Shed' cache by Scooby Doo and Shaggy Too, which covers an area nearer the village and can easily be done to lead on to our cache. Please check the tide times though!
