Cod Cheek Trail Traditional Cache

I drive by this location almost every day and peek down this trail while waiting at the lights, wondering what's down there. Well, now there's a geocache down there.
The trail head is sometimes occupied by a van or truck selling smoked mackerel, cod cheeks, scallops etc. hence the name of the cache.
After a short hike down a beaten path, you will have about 400' of bushwhacking to do. There is an interesting obelisk at the location listed in the additional waypoints below. This is near where you will begin your bushwhacking. I considered working the number engraved on it into an offset/puzzle clue, but I ended up placing a simple traditional cache instead. Who needs another %$&*@ puzzle, right? 
The easiest spot to cross the brook is also listed at the coordinates below.
While stealth shouldn't be a concern, respect the environment, put your "forest ninja" skills to good use and leave no trace.
With regards to the "Private Land" sign at the entrance, I spoke to a Security Supervisor with Halifax Water at the phone number listed (490-6940) before placing the cache and they told me as long as you are not engaged in any of the restricted activities listed on the sign, it should be OK to hike through the area.
