Geocache Description:

Squaw Peak Park, a short hike but its a climb to 1873ft

Park at the end of Squaw Peak Park. It’s not a long hike but can be strenuous for those not use the desert heat. Bring plenty of water!

The story
Sharon was my wife until we lost her to breast cancer in 2007. This has been a rough time for her 5 year old son and I. Luckily a family at Zachary’s school has befriended us and is helping us through this difficult time. They were just getting into Geocaching and invited us along and we immediately loved it.
Sharon was a great mom and would have LOVED doing this!
So I decided to put this cache in a spot that we liked hiked to.

I suggest you bring dinner and watch the moon rise as we did over this great little hidden valley. It’s an easy hike back down with flashlights.

Pictures on outside are of her and us. She was a jeweler, so the pin inside are ones she made.

UPDATE:
The family that befriended us has become part of our family! Zachary's best friend's Mom became my best friend and became my wife in 2012! We now have a blended family of 6.
