Located in the Cleaver Woods Recreation Park near Arima.
Arima is about 45 minutes east of Port-of-Spain and it is the traditional home of Trinidad's original inhabitants the Caribs. Traveling on the Eastern Main Road just to the West of Arima (before you enter the town when coming from the POS direction) you find the Cleaver Woods Recreation Park, a beautiful wooded area with a visitor center, toilet facilities, small kids play ground and some nice nature trails. There are also several thatched roof picknick huts in the park. You can park your vehicle on the compound at co-ordinates: N10 37.871 W061 17.985.
When visiting the area please ensure to keep the park clean and beautiful. Do not take anything else but pictures and do not leave any trash or food items behind. There are trash bins provided by some of the picknick huts as well as by the visitors center.
Please pay the usual caution when looking for the cache, both in relation to nature (insects/reptiles etc. could be hiding in the leaves or plants/trees) plus other visitors to the park not familiar with geocaching may be wanting to watch the cache location and remove or destroy the cache later.
The cache is placed inside a round plastic container with a blue cover. It contains a small logbook and pen (please do not remove those two items) and a St. Christophers Travelers Card and a Scented Candle. You can take something, but please remember to also place something else back inside.
