"HAVE A BREAK ..... HAVE A JUNCTION BREAK!" M6 Junction 15 - 16: A500 Series

# 6 'Old Karate'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't know about any other cachers but I get soooo bored going up and down the motorway - and there is nothing worse than hearing that there are QUEUES AHEAD! arrghh ... "stay on or get off .. stay on or getoff???" then you end up contemplating so much that you miss the slip road and have to stay on, sometimes for hours! *yaaawn*
Now - with living in S-o-T i know how long and boring J15 - J16 is (and vice versa) and there can be so many traffic jams! might be nothing but then you get the crane necks gawping at nothing and slowing everybody down (we all do it!)
So if you fancy like slipping off at one of these junctions and heading on down (or up) the A500, then you will be pleased to know that I have put out a series of 10 caches along the A500 to keep you amused while you sneak ahead of all the traffic on the motorway and jump ahead a junction.
Caches numbered 1 - 8 are meant to be nice quick and easy cache and dashes, a couple you barely even have to step a foot out of the car! (thats if you park in the right place heehee) They are either 35mm Canisters or click and lock boxes for swaps.
Caches number 9 and 10 are the BONUS caches!! There is 1 placed North and 1 placed South close to the Juntion slip road. To get the actual co-ords for these you need to collect ALL of the other caches numbered 1 - 8. Inside each one, written somewhere on the log there is a letter and a number (eg A=9) collect all of these and get the BONUS cache before you join the motorway again. EASY!!
NOW - the fun part is ... instead of your boring old usual geoswag in the bonus caches, I have placed a PRIZE for the FTF - a cool prize and a booby prize heehee - in one there is a poor little badge, in the other I have placed a memory stick that I have never used patiently waiting inside its gift box for someone to collect it --- BUT which bonus cache is it in? who knows!!! I made them look the same, filled them up - then got Lindiloo to mingle them round ... i have nooo idea :o)
SO - what you waiting for? Take the next slip road and get hunting! The caches will take you off the A500 briefly but all you need to do then is get back on again - all the caches are close to the A500 so you wont have to go far from it. For the little geocachers in the car there might be some fun stuff to do on the way if the grown ups will let you out of the car for a bit of a break before joining the motorway again!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

All caches have been placed in good faith, please take care when you park and put your safety first at all times.
