Another confirmed lookout site. The area is accessible by several different methods. Easy terrain, elevation 3653. Distance in and out is a little over 2 miles from the very end of the regular vehicle access.
This was my 3rd attempt to find this lookout. The coordinates on the mapping software put it 3 10ths of a mile away from the actual site. We hiked in over plenty of snow in April. There were lots of wildflowers blooming in the meadows adjacent to the road. We saw elk, deer, bear, turkey and what sure looked like martin or maybe even wolverine tracks when hiking..a very interesting area. Enjoy!
