This cache was placed to commemorate ANZAC day 2008.
I was originally going to make this a puzzle cache but seeing how this area is flooded with puzzle caches already I decided against it and made this one a simple traditional cache in a not so simple location.
The island ANZAC is a small to medium sized cache that contains a few simple ANZAC themed items inside. Please don’t remove items from this cache unless necessary and only put in items that are relevant.
I was planning on take along a few of those fake poppies you can buy around ANZAC day and tying them to the vine that surrounds the tree this cache it hidden at, however in the rush to get out on the lake and do some fishing I didn’t have time to organise this. So if your coming to find this cache and have a few of those poppies lying around, how about bringing them along and attaching them to the vine to make this a little memorial site for us caches.
