Geocache Description:

The cache is on private property by permission of the Ivy Keep II Homeowner's Association Board of Directors. Please park on the parking pad. It is a quick park 'n grab. The 1.5 terrain rating is because it is just off of the pavement on a slight incline. Hopefully we'll see you and we'll poke our heads out to say, "Hi."

There are two $5 gift certificates for coffee. One for FTF and one for STF.

This cache is a tribute to my Dad and Mom. Dad headed up the building of this complex in 1980. He was the one that fought to make sure that the streets were built so there would be no through traffic and the neighborhood stays very quiet. Also, the developers were going to build a building inbetween ours and the next one to the north. Dad worked hard with our association and the association in the building to the north. They finally got to purchase the land (us half and them half) so it couldn't be developed. Our building was finished in January of 1981. Dad and Mom moved in shortly thereafter. We moved in in the summer of 2006.

When you are in the area, you may also visit Light It UP (GC15NAB) and Muggled? (GC2DX0H). If we're free, we'll walk down there with you. If you walk from cache to cache, please use the streets and walking paths. Cutting through the yards is not necessary.

Enjoy!
