Geocache Description:

This cache is located 10-15 feet off of the Nature Trail along the American River. Terrain can be steep in places, so use caution going down. Park in the Nimbus Fish Hatchery parking lot and walk past the fish ladders to the nature trail.

I took the kids, Noisy Boy and Schmoopie down by the American River to hunt for some caches. Wouldn't you know that all the caches are either on the other side of the river or along the bike trail. We came across this spot and saw the waterfall in the title and thought this would be a great place for people to visit.

You are looking for a "princess" camo'd peanut butter jar. Contents include a log, a whistle and a Fun pin. There is room for small items. Good luck and Happy Hunting!
