A short walk with some light bushwhacking
Screw Auger Falls Gorge along the Bear River in Grafton Notch State Park is a very popular spot along Rt. 26 for summer tourists and hikers alike. This is a Unique Natural Area that shows the evidence and results of water erosion over the years through this steep meandering gorge. There is plenty of parking available. Because of the popularity of this spot, I have placed the cache where it would have the least effect on the area and you will be inconspicuous finding it but you MUST be careful getting to it. Because of overhead canopy, coords may be difficult. The cache is a small locknloc container covered in black tape. Bring your own pen/pencil.
