Geocache Description:

Have Kayak, will Cache!

This cache is located along the Cape Fear River on the Lillington-Erwin run. This trip is about 7-8 miles and can be easily be ran in either a canoe or kayak. Expect a lot of flatwater with some Class I and Class II rapids. It is a very gentle river below a water level of “4 feet”. Anything higher than “4feet”, please use discretion.

The cache consists of a green ammo can with a variety of army patches, bumper stickers, flashlights and snap-links. There is poison ivy in the area so be careful.

This cache is named after the group of soldiers who placed it. The Razorbacks are an Infantry National Guard unit located in Smithfield, NC. The Razorbacks deployed to Iraq in 2004-2005 as part of the 30th Infantry Brigade attached to the 1st ID (Big Red One).
