Goats are interesting creatures. Since I decided to start this series of caches, I've learned quite a few things about them.
1. Fainting goats don't really faint. When placed in extreme stress or fear, their epinephrine and cortisol hormones cause increased muscle tension. When this happens, the leg muscles become rigid, causing them to lose their balance and fall over.
2. The age of a goat can be closely determined by its teeth.
This is only one in a series of 17 caches that I’ve placed throughout the valley. All containers are 35mm film canisters. After you snag a couple of these, you should start to see a pattern emerge, but be warned that not all of the caches follow this pattern. The cache is an easy find, but it leads to something bigger…
To log this cache as a find, you MUST write your name in the logbook or your online log will be deleted.
Happy Caching!
