THIS CACHE IS NOT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY- YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO MORE THAN A COUPLE OF FEET OFF THE ROAD IN THE ROAD RIGHT OF WAY .Located at the intersection of 2 dirt roads outside of Ely,MN. If you have a dog keep it in the vehicle- as there is an active wolf pack in the area and if your dog goes wandering- it might not come back. BYOP ACCESS DUE TO SNOW DEPTH IS VERY LIMITED.BYOP
Your geocaching skills and expertise will make this a quick park and grab or a DNF. Depending on your caching experiences the difficulty can be a 2 or a 5.
A local retired police officer walks the road for exercise. He knows about the cache and may try to give you a hard time- humor him- it's his way of joining in.
This cache was placed in honor of the OBW group- of which we are proud to be a card carrying members- with full rights, privileges and benefits.
I challenge the other OBW members to head north and find this and my other caches.
A moose was spotted on the road not far from the cache on May 8, 2008. A black wolf patrols the road regularly-2009-10
