Welcome, Cacher Nation, to the
May DFW Breakfast Event!
Come on down to the Golden Corral in Richardson May 24 from 8:30 to
11:00 am for another Geocaching breakfast event. This Golden Corral
is located at the corner of Campbell and Plano Road, 1440 East
Campbell Road.
Cacher Nation isn't the newest cacher. It's YOU. All of us,
actually. Together, we ARE a Global Nation of cachers.
As a fun start to the festivities, see how many ways you can make
fun of the cache name. Consternation, Consterpation, Cagitation,
etc. are a few to get you started.
We'll of course pig out on GC's great buffet. We'll of course take
pictures and socialize. We'll of course go caching afterwards.
There will of course be some bugs there.
But as a matter of course, there will be some discussion around
Texas Geocaching and the future of a formal organization. This is
the time for you to be a voice and to come together as a cacher
nation. We hope to have some folks there to talk about it and ask
for our opinions and maybe our help.
In our opinion, we believe that any Geocaching organization should
be heavy on the geocaching part and light on the organization part.
We're about geocaching. But some bit of organization can benefit
ourselves and our communities. An education program or a CITO
outreach, for examples. So we'll see what the proponents have to
say. What kind of cacher nation do YOU want to be? We hope you're
there too!
