FTF, TFTC, muggles, TNLNSL....What does all this geo-jargon mean?! Geocaching has its own vocabulary and this cache will clue you in to some of the acronyms that come along with the game/sport/hobby/whatever you classify geocaching as.
There are many tools available to help make finding geocaches easier. On of my favorite tools is designed to be used on a cell phone. Google maps area great for researching the areas surrounding GZ (ground zero) but it doesn't have to be done only while at home on the computer. Google maps area available for your cell phone! You can just punch in the coords for the cache and it will reveal the same satellite imagery that you can view on the internet. It is not required that you use google maps for your mobile to log this cache. but if you are interested in giving it a try just point your cell phone browser at m.google.com and follow the links for the download. Download is 554 kb and is a data intensive program. It is recommended that you have a data package on your cell phone plan before you utilize this freeware. Hope this makes your geocaching adventures more productive and enjoyable!
