Geocache Description:

A two-stage hybrid cache based on six movies directed or produced by the Master of Suspense.

At the listed location you'll find a stump (and a stamp). To verify that you're at the right stump: find an object with the same name as a 1948 Hitchcock flick starring Jimmy Stewart.
Pull on it to recreate the final scene in a 1960 movie starring Janet Leigh.
To obtain a direction, you'll need the title of a 1959 movie starring Eva Marie Saint.
The distance is the title of a 1936 mystery starring Madeliene Carroll.
Go in the direction obtained for that distance. There you'll find an object which is remindful of a 1958 movie starring Kim Novak ...
... as well as a 1963 thriller starring Tippi Hedren.
