This is part of a 7 cache series I have placed on the Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail. The trail runs though the National Forest for about 4 miles from Measham to the small village of Spring Cottage. Attractions along the route include Moira Furnace and Conkers.
The trail itself is a recognised national cycle route the majority of which is traffic free, if you are attempting the whole trail you will only need to use the roadside pavement for a short distance then further down the trail cross one road.
The surface can get muddy in places but for the most part it is fine for buggies, wheelchairs and obviously cycles – please remember that most cache's will require an able bodied adult or older child to perform the extraction.
This cache is a small clip-lock container.
