High Lea Park is the grounds of High Lea Hall and was created as a park in 1937. Built between 1831-1841, the Grade II listed Hall is a double-fronted classical late-Georgian house, previously the residence of various factory owners. The park contains a good kids playground and is also the site of the One World festival held in June each year. An interesting development in the near vicinity is a new community orchard, first planted in 2006. You can get to this through the wood.
Beware of dog walkers when retrieving the cache.
You can park in town and walk up or street parking is available near the park entrance.
