Geocache Description:

Coordinates are for parking. Short walk to two places of strangly conflicting interest

From the parking head for
N51 23.427 W002 17.238
This will bring you to a viewpoint of a grey building with a brick chimney. This dates from WW2 and was a boiler house for heating a massive ammunition dump - believed to be Britains largest - in abandoned stone quarries deep underground.
From the vertical wooden object at the 'viewpoint' get the three vertical numbers below 'B' make them ABC (Start at the top).
Now head for
N51 23.394 W002 17.017.
This small building is known as 'The Monk's Conduit' and was built by the monks from the nearby priory in the 14th Century to provide a source of clean drinking water.
Whilst here get the date that Sqr Turner wrote his name and make that DEFG.

There is a similar structure to this near The Cuthberts Cache at
'Bowden Hill (GCGP17)'

The cache is hidden at:

N51 23.(G)(A-C-D-D-G)(A) W002 17.(A-B)(E)(E-C).
Seems Ironic that bombs were stored below the lands of a Priory!

THERE IS NO NEED TO CROSS ANY FENCES (Except by stile/gate) TO ACCESS ANY POINT OF THIS CACHE

FIRST TO FIND AWARDED TO: Gowenhouse
