Geocache Description:

As evidenced coming to this point, the Marsh is filled with a series of bridges that get you from one place to another connected by walking trials, or the horse trail. The Marsh was created after having been emptied and used as farm land to then be turned back into a marsh when the Detroit Metro Airport Midfield terminal was being constructed. This marsh was created to replace wetlands being disrupted at the airport. It is fed by an intricate drain system that is a part of the Huron River Watershed. The Marsh is “watered” in particular by two drains that run to Lake Erie. These drainage systems were designed to handle overflow of the ground water and rain water providing drainage of the land for the area residents and farmers and offering some relief from flooding from the Huron River.

The cache is a small camo’d lock-n-lock with very small trade items as well as the log book. Please re-hide well.
