Geocache Description:

This cache is part of 2008 Ohio State Park Challenge. It is located behind the baseball fields below the Jefferson Lake Dam. Be prepared for a steep climb!!! This cache is close to the yellow property line. The cache is a locklid container and will be in an obvious place.

Attention 2008 Ohio State Park Challenge Cachers! Due to unexpected circumstances and some confusion with coords, missing caches and gas prices limiting travel, there has been a major change to the OSP Challenge. Therefore I have made some changes for the requirements. Please read the paragraph below for the new revision.

This cache is part of the 2008 Ohio State Park Challenge. There are 23 caches located in these 5 parks: Jefferson Lake, Beaver Creek, Guilford Lake, Quail Hollow, and Portage Lakes. This challenge still ends Labor Day 2008.

Included in these 23 caches are 5 very difficult micro caches made out of CD cases. Do not pay any attention to the clues posted inside the CDs as there will be no 24th cache. If you find at least 4 of the 5 of the micro CD caches, and send in a picture with you and each of the CD caches, I will put your name in the final drawing for a one night bed and breakfast package at the Punderson Manor Resort. The drawing will take place at the Great Geauga Campout. You do not need to be present to win.

In addition, I will also have drawings for those cachers that have found at least 20 of the caches. You MUST be present at the OSP Finale to get these prizes.

This year’s finale is NOT GOING TO BE AT GUILFORD LAKE. It is going to be at the Great Geauga Campout at Punderson Lake State Park on Saturday Sept 27, 2008. (see attached link). http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=542e5619-430b-4b2b-b878-b05c78f6d015

I want to thank Geauga Garmin and Chris K for allowing us to join their event and also Punderson Lake State Park for allowing the event and blocking campsites for the campout.
