Paul Bunyan's Nickel Rolled Here Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

moon-howler: I decided to archieve this one. Stopped by to check on it and decided it has lost it's charm since the tar road went
in. I found the container but only because I new exactly where to look / dig on the leaning tree that decided to take a
permenent lay down on the spot where the cache had been tucked away.

Geocache Description:

Located along the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway off CR 11 east of Pequot Lakes. In the tradition of Tale Tales, Nickel Road could have been developed because Paul Bunyan dropped a nickel and it cut through the landscape separating Rice lake from the ridge of woods. Park along the road. The old trails are overgrown. This is a true "up north"cache. Long pants and solid shoes recommended. There may be a lot of GPS bounce so be patient and enjoy the wildlife. You are searching for a medium sized camo'd bottle that holds a log book and small trade items.
