A beautiful forest walk starting and finishing in the village of Lochgoilhead. The path is good underfoot but reasonably steep going at the start ( or finish depending on which way you decide to go!! ). Approx 4Km and should take less than 2hrs, even with a stop for lunch at the picnic bench beside the cache!!
Best start is from the carpark at N56 10.384 W004 53.993. There's a large information board and several trails start from here but you want to take the Glen Donich Walk that follows the red markers and passes the meeting of the waters!! The cache can also be reached from the "Cowal Way" and from the forest trail from the "Rest and be Thankful", but these are obviously both far longer routes!
It's not far from the higher of the two bridges. If your GPS signal is less than perfect in some parts of the forest don't worry, the cache is easy to find!
The scenery is beautiful and the falls look great.
Enjoy.
Hermitross.
