Good dirt road. Dusty or muddy, depending on weather. Parking near coordinates off road.
Beginning in the 1880s, pioneers moving to the Plains settled in communities. Schools, churches, and post offices quickly appeared. At one time there were 30 or more small communities scattered throughout Terry County. Most have disappeared except for their cemeteries. If you take time to look around, you'll discover quite a bit of history here.
The travel clock is for the first finder. Various other swag items are included. Bring your own pen in case the writing instrument fails. Feel free to take a copy of the brief history. (Watch for usual critters.)
