Rattlesnakes in Jacks Peak County Park? Perhaps. Fortunately, the rattlesnakes I stumbled into were of the flora rather than the fauna variety.

Take a sweet bench on Pine Trail, coupled with a view of the Monterey Bay and beyond, and add in a patch of intricate rattlesnake grass. All of this equals a vista with an edge!
Stop to sit and enjoy the view and the peace forest before continuing on with your hike. The cache is a camo'ed film can, nestled against a bench leg. BYOP. And please hide well!!!
