Geocache Description:

The cache search will take you inside Platres-Troodos forest area.
It’s not a very long walk and is part of a nature trail (See also Pouziaris cache GCZQZV).
I recommend you do the search on foot and even stay for a night at the
village and enjoy its beauties as well as the other few caches in the area (See also Platres Mega Hunt cache GCZMF8).

Note: The Area is regularly polluted by 'people'. Please help 'Cache In Trash Out'. Take with you a bag and help keep the area clean. The Cache is in a bag. If you see that the bag started to deteriorate please help to dispose it correctly.

Please note that this is an area that people visit so please hide the cache as you have found it.

NOTES ON CYPRUS SNAKES: In case you are bitten by any snake DO NOT PANIC and visit the hospital asap (since even with the harmless to humans snakes you might be allergic to the venom). The Vipera Lebetina (Blunt Nosed Viper is almost unnoticeable due to its color and will make a sound if disturbed and before it attacks. It will not attack unless provoked so if you are face to face with one stay still) is VERY dangerous to humans and Highly Venomous. There are two more Venomous snakes in Cyprus but 'Harmless' to humans. The Malpolon Monspessulanus (Montpellier Snake will make a sound if disturbed and before it attacks) and the Telescopus Fallax (Cat Snake is very small and is actually a night snake). The very common Black snake of Cyprus is NOT venomous and not dangerous to humans.

p.s. Cache was initially named "The Rock Tower". Later I found out that the specific rock is actually called "The Rock of St. Irene".
