This small parcel of land was never broken and was cut for hay up until the railway cut through here leaving no access for equipment to work this small piece of tall grass prairie.
Gord from Morris' ancestors knew this land should not go to waste so they made a deal with the Gnome clan. The Gnomes were looking for a small out of the way place to raise their winter mushrooms. Gnomes raise winter mushrooms because they are the biggest and most frozen of all strains and stand up well even in our cold climate.
If you're lucky, you may come and visit the farm when the so trusting gnomes are away tending other duties and you may find some of the special mushroom dust that they so covet!
