Beautiful pasture with Oreo colored cows.
We drive by this pasture, with cows colored like Oreo cookies, every day. I never knew what kind of cows, or cattle if you may, they where, until I decide to share this spot with you. After looking on the internet, I find that the Oreo cows are really "Belted Galloway's" a cow known for it's quality beef, good nature and hearty stamina. This ranch is quite large, and the cattle roam over the large pasture, so you may or may not see them.
This cache is a small round York Mint tin, approximately 3" in diameter and 3/4" thick. It can hold small items, but right now only contains a logbook and a dollar for the first to find. You may be able to squeeze in a geocoin or small TB, but coins and other flat small things are better suited. Bring a pen or pencil to sign the log. There's parking on the opposite side of the street.
Enjoy the pastoral scene and have fun caching in the Julian area.
NOTE! You shouldn't have to climb down into the hole to get this cache. Just lean over a bit and feel around the top of the metal work. PLEASE RETURN THE CACHE TO SAME SPOT!
