This is small decon container hidden along a nice flat path along the Mad River.
While out for a walk along the Mad River Greenway Path, on the hunt for the nearby Flat cache by Kevel we stopped at this nice little resting place. It looks like it will be a busy spot for fisherman and those looking for a cool place to take a swim. It was a warm evening and Sasha jumped right in.
This being such a peaceful spot with mountain views and flowing river, we decided to place a cache. When I saved it into the GPS, I abbreviated Mad River SWIMHOLE. As we were walking back to the truck I realized that it looked more like MRS WIMHOLE.
As Kevel said, This cache is located along the Mad River Greenway Path. You can walk it, run it, ride it, ski it or snowshoe it.
You can park at N 44 13.206 W 072 47.374 . Cross the bridge and off you go. The path is a dirt path that is easy to follow in the summer. In the winter just stick to the tree line and you will be fine. Please do not try to park closer on the private roads, or cross private land.
Round trip is less than 1.3 miles, but it is all flat, no elevation gain.
