This is a stash full of Hotwheels, and Matchbox Cars. Bring any type of die cast car be it Road Champs, Hotwheels, Matchbox, packaged, unpackaged, whatever type you can fit in the large ammo can pictured to trade. Originally stashed with 11 various cars.
Theme of the cache was lost long ago... trade whatever items you would like from now on. Park Closes at midnight.
Stash is in Stone Mountain Park, off one of the lesser-traveled walking trails. It will be in the area of a fallen tree in a larger size ammo box covered in branches and leaves. Depending on where you park it is possible to park within 0.2 miles of the stash.
We had expected to leave it in another area of the park but in driving around discovered this area and found it much more appealing, and until We didn’t know this parking area or area of trails existed. Took us awhile to find the best out of sight spot but it looks like not many people use these trails as we only saw one other person in the area in the 45 minutes or so while we were looking for a good spot.

I went to the park today to average the waypoint for the stash. Upon entering the park I noticed they now have 2 big signs informing guests that Parking is now $8 for those who do not have the yearly pass. Also one of the friendly park police officers pulled me over and informed me that the speed limit past the playground is 15mph! Watch out! Also the little map that apears on this page shows the stash to be in the lake, you will NOT need to go swimming or use a boat to get to this one as it is on land.
