8/6/05--Well, it appears that the cache may have disappeared again!! Please don't stop looking, it could still be up there but at the suggestion of TheMboys, if you can answer these 3 questions, you can claim the cache as found: 1. What year was was Point Dume named? 2. What is the landmark number on the plaque? 3. What year was the plaque placed? E-mail me the answers via this page. The Malibu Gang P.S.-Be a good cacher and pick up a few pieces of trash on you way down---Thanks 1/5/05--I have noticed that the last few cachers have been unable to locate the cache, I had failed to re-set the official coordinates when it was replaced by TRUROKR, I truly apologize for this and hope it wasn't the cause for the lack of finds, they weren't too far off though, I just hope it is still there!! If it is not found in the near future, I will replace it. The cache has been replaced on 5/15/04 by TRUROKR and Baby Sparkle. Thanks so much to our fellow cachers. It is a small camouflaged peanut can. Our GPS showed us at 199 Feet.
