Predil Fortress
This cache leads you to the ruins of a fortress which was built in 1808, the time of Napoleon. It is situated at the road to the Predil pass near Strmec, the road leads directly through the ruins.From the upper part of the fortress, where the cache is located, you will also have a nice scenic view. The historical background is illustrated on a plate near the road. There is a parking possibility just near the fortress.
Dieser Cache führt dich zu den gut erhaltenen Ruinen einer Festung aus dem Jahr 1808, der Zeit der napoleonischen Kriege. Die Festung liegt an der Straße zum Predilpass nahe bei Strmec, die Straße führt mitten durch die Ruinen hindurch. Vom oberen Teil der Festung, wo der Cache liegt, hat man einen schönen Ausblick.Der geschichtliche Hintergrund wird vor Ort auf einer Tafel erläutert. Eine Parkmöglichkeit ist direkt bei der Festung vorhanden.
