Geocache Description:

Want to find a cache in the middle of nowhere on a train that’s going nowhere on a track that goes nowhere? Then this cache is for you! Why is it here? – I’ve no idea! (But if you know, please e-mail me and let me know!)

Go up Snowden Road to Acme Road, and turn right on Acme Road. After a while, it turns into a gravel road. (You may need to keep an eye on your GPS map to make sure you are on the right road because some of the side roads aren't marked.) Please note that when winter snows arrive, this road is not drivable. After passing a nice view of Mount Adams on the left, you will find a dirt road branching off Acme Road to the right about a quarter mile from the cache coordinates. If you have a four-wheel-drive, you can drive right up to it, but if you don’t, you may want to park at this intersection and walk the last quarter mile to the cache.

Cache container is a regular-sized ammo can. Please note that you do NOT have to enter the caboose to find the cache! In fact, I can’t really recommend going inside the caboose at all, as there is probably an unsavory assortment of debris within (enter at your own risk!). Also, please watch for broken glass. This area is also popular with hunters in the fall, so wear bright colors if you plan on hiking the area during deer season.
