Geocache Description:

The cache has been placed in a sandy, open area that takes just a short hike to get to from the parking location.

The container is short length of 3" ABS pipe closed with caps at each end. Contents of the cache at this time of placement include an eight-ball and other small cache goodies.

The cache's name comes from its coordinates. It is placed at the epicenter of the 4.5 Richter scale earthquake that occured on April 21, 2008 at around 3:00pm. For those who are a bit geologically minded this quake occured on the subducting Gorda Plate, and within 2km of a Dec 27, 1994 earthquake.

NOTE: If you visit on a Sunday when the nearby dragstrip is running, the event staff folks may wander over to see if you are trying to sneak in.
