Geocache Description:

A Walk Across The Dam is a micro cache located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.   The cache container is not unique. It could be hard to find if you don't look close.

The dam at Freeman Lake is an example of an embankment dam that backs up Valley Creek- Freeman Lake is the result.  Freeman Lake is  a 170 acre lake that was built  as a flood control  and drinking water source for Elizabethtown Kentucky. Freeman lake is also a recreation area for the residences and visitors  to the area.  The lake is located in the Mid-Alantic fly way which means that all species of water fowel that follows this flyway  can be observed.

Please follow the rules and regulations of the park.  The parks opens at sun-up and closes at dusk.

Be Safe. Good caching. Hope to Meet You On The Trail OneDay Soon.
