Dieser Alljahrescache liegt am Geoweg Schänis-Weesen-Amden und weist auf interessante Gesteinsformationen an dieser Stelle hin. - An all season cache referring to an interesting geological site.
DE: Als Parkplatz empfehle ich N 47° 08.965 – E 9° 08.465 (1h gratis) im Dorfzentrum von Amden. Hier hält auch der Bus von Weesen und Ziegelbrücke herkommend. Es ist zwar erlaubt, mit dem Auto näher an den Cache heranzufahren, aber legale Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es unterwegs keine, es ist alles Privatgrund.
Der Weg zu Fuss oder mit dem Bike lohnt sich alleine schon wegen der prächtigen Aussicht auf den Walensee und die umliegenden Berge.
Ideal kombinieren lässt sich dieser Cache mit dem Kneipp Cache Durschlegi (GC1CDGD).

Coming from there, it is a worthwile walk with beautiful views on lake Walensee and the surrounding mountains.
