Die Festung Ehrenbreitstein ist eine Befestigungsanlage aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Ihre Lage, Bauweise, Größe und ihre die Details machen sie sehr interessant. Hebe diesen Geocache niemals allein. Hebe diesen Geocache trotzdem niemals allein. Geht diesen Cache nur an, wenn ihr Erfahrungen mit eurer Kletterausrüstung habt. Nutzt für das Herangehen über Zugang "Felsenweg T5 (mit Kletterausrüstung)” bis zum Cache und für den vollständigen Weg zurück eure Kletterausrüstung. Seit euch für das Herangehen über andere Zugänge im Klaren, dass ihr einen Knall habt (Ich hatte ihn). Lest euch das gesamte Listing aufmerksam durch. Dieses Listing stellt keine Motivation dar, sich diesem Geocache zu nähern, ihn zu suchen, zu finden und heil zurückzukommen. Du handelst absolut eigenverantwortlich.
Du erreichst den Geocache über verschiedene Möglichkeiten.
- Felsenweg T5 (mit Kletterausrüstung):
Mein Tipp und der Hint beziehen sich darauf, den Felsenweg nach oben zu folgen und kurz vor dem Cache (nur) mit Kletterausrüstung die “Fronten” zu wechseln (T5). Sichere Dich unbedingt beim Abstieg zum Cache! ACHTUNG: Nur bei Null-Muggle-Frequenz angehen! Absoluter Stealth-Modus! Bei unerwünschten Gesprächen kein Wort von dem Geocache. Ihr wisst nicht, was das ist und habt einfach Spaß am Klettern.
- Untendurch und entlang T6 (ohne Kletterausrüstung):
Sollte das “Überwinden” nicht unauffällig möglich sein, dann kannst Du den Felsenweg auch “unterwandern” und auf der anderen Seite entlang “wandern". Das ist aber mindestens T6, da Du Dich nicht sichern kannst und mit einem falschen Schritt sterben könntest. Hierfür sind sehr gute Konditionen und Erfahrungen notwendig. Du kannst nicht einfach umkehren und musst Dich auch Deine Hände verlassen, wenn auf einmal kein Boden mehr da sein sollte. Boulder-Real-Life-Erfahrung - Geheimtipp für Freeclimber. Ich habe diesen “Weg” letztes Mal zum Warten des Caches im Dunkeln genommen und hatte nur die Taschenlampe vom Smartphone dabei. Ich hatte wahrscheinlich einen absoluten Voll-Knall. Aber es kann funktionieren.
- Von unten hoch T6 (ohne Kletterausrüstung):
Du kannst den Berg frontal “hochlaufen”, bis Du beim Cache bist. Auch diese Möglichkeit schätze ich mindestens bei T6 ein, da ein Sichern nicht möglich ist. Beim letzten Warten habe ich dies als Abstieg im Dunkeln genommen. Da kam der Voll-Knall wieder durch.

Ich schließe weitere Zugänge zu Cache nicht aus; die Du vielleicht erschließen kannst.

Do never move to this eocache alone. Still, do never move to this geocache alone. Only access this cache if You have experience with Your climbing equipment. If You use the access "Rock Road T5 (with climbing equipment)”, use Your climbing equipment for reach the cache and for the whole way back. Be aware of that, if You use other accesses, Your are crazy (I was that crazy). Read this entire listing carefully. This listing is not a motivation to approach, seek, and find this geocache and come back safely. You act completely on Your own responsibility.
You can reach the geocache via different possibilities.
- Rock Road T5 (with climbing equipment):
My tip and hint refer to walk up the rock road and change the “fronts” near the cache with climbing equipment only. Be sure to secure Yourself with the climbing equipment during the descent. ATTENTION: Only tackle the cache at zero-muggle-frequency! Absolute stealth mode! In unwanted conversations not a word from the geocaching. You don't know what that is and just enjoy climbing.
- Underneath and along T6 (without climbing equipment):
If the "overcoming" is not inconspicuously possible, then You can cross “under” the rock road and "walk" along the other side. But that is at least T6, because You can not secure Yourself and You could die with a wrong step. For this very good conditions and experiences are necessary. You can not just turn back and You have to rely on Your hands if there is no ground anymore. "Boulder real life experience - Insider's tip for free climber! I took this “path” to maintain the cache last time and it was dark and the only light I had was the flashlight from my smartphone. I probably was absolute full-crazy. But it may work.
- From the bottom up T6 (without climbing equipment):
You can “walk” up the mountain until You reach the cache. Also, I estimate this possibility at least at T6, course secure Yourself with climbing equipment is not possible. After the last maintenance I toke this route back. I was absolute full-crazy again.
- Other accesses T?:
I do not exclude further accesses to cache; which You may be able to open up.
