Geocache Description:

Another “Family Friendly” cache placed by members of the Flying Pig Cache Team. A small Lock and Lock sandwich sized container that will be easily found when you arrive at Ground Zero. The cache is hidden close to the site of a long since removed Lean To with good winter views.

The difficulty with this cache is getting to it. It is located on MOUNT PLEASURE along what was the former route of the Horse Shoe Trail in the 1970s. If approached from the west you can walk up a service road that leads to the top of the mountain (recommended if you have children in your group, see waypoint for cords ). There is a large fenced in area on the top for scientific research, please do not attempt to enter, ( see Ed Scott's Log for May 21, 2008 for more info about the cache site ) cache is not inside! If you approach from the east where the current route of the HST crosses PA 345, look sharply in a north westernly direction for the former path, now overgrown and barely visible.
Please Practice CITO as you cache!

Owner does not recommend parking along route 345 and scrambling up the mountain… There is a log, a FTF pin and misc small items of swag in the cache.
If anyone should happen to know of a picture of this particular lean to I would be interested in getting a digital copy of it. Thanks…
