Geocache Description:

A traditional cache overlooking a nice cascade falls located off a trail starting at the Smith River Trails - Marrowbone Canoe Launch.

We hope you enjoy our first cache offering...
Bring your own camera and upload your images!
This cache overlooks what I incorrectly assumed was Eggleston Falls but is actually Fisher Dam (see update below) which is hidden among a thick forest which is heavily foliated in the summer and more open in winter as the trees shed their leaves.
You can park at the Smith River Trails - Marrowbone canoe launch parking lot. From there, the falls will beckon as you draw closer to the cascades.

UPDATE!
Thanks to cacher LinkOtaru777 for providing the following corrected information about this site: "... This cache is actually at Fisher Dam--a man made dam on the Marrowbone Creek. Mr. Fisher owned the Fisher Farm all along Marrowbone Creek and built this around 1930. He made his own hydro-electric power and used it to milk 200 cows everyday. Plus all the farm houses had electricity. And the roads had street lights.

Eggleston Falls is north(to the left) on the dirt road across from the Marrowbone Canoe Access. The road runs along side the Smith River and about a mile up you will find the Eggleston Falls. This is not a big falls, but water over some large rocks. And it is a very beautiful stretch of the river.

Nice wading, fishing, and sunning areas. The roadway (not meant for any type of vehicle) can be muddy, but mostly level. ..."

Based on his description the actual locations are as shown in the image to the right.

The cache is a camo lock-and-lock regular sized container nestled just off the path 40ft or so.

There should be minimal exposure to muggles here but some come this way to fish.

Amongst the initial contents are as follows:
FTF prize: Slinky - Others:Mars Attacks DVD, Jewel Necklace (originally from Rodans Roots 3), A sample soap bar, GarbagePailKids Pack, Gamera sticker, Plastic Bug, Burger King - Indiana Jones rip cord toy, Red Zone sample can., An eraser pen, Green Scented Candle, Magic Bubbles

Enjoy!

Congratulations to TeamSCR for FTF!
NOTE: Just up the road are Rodan's Route series caches by damnedrodan at the Gravely Nature Preserve so visit those too and make a set of them!
